We asked our General Manager Brandon Orr to share his thoughts on our new headquarters and the future of Alemré.

Q&A

Can you tell us about Alemré Hospitality Group and its vision?

Our passion is to create memorable experiences through attentive customer service and an unrivalled offering of excellently executed international cuisines. The recent investment into our HQ and production facility allows us to create more of a direct pathway for our fresh produce to reach our customers. The majority of all our food is prepared in-house! This ranges from our bread, meatballs, arancini, croquettes, and hand-stretched pizza dough to the various pastries, desserts and specialty hand-crafted items in our Deli cabinets.

Something else we’re working on is taking our services on the road, with more of our offerings being found across the city’s mobile markets, events and catering destinations!

What made you decide to establish the headquarters in this particular location?

Having this HQ allowed us to put the Alemre Group on the map in a bricks-and-mortar format, which we have always aspired towards! Also, being in Morningside we are close to all our existing venues.

How does the new headquarters align with Alemré’s values and goals?

Our values are encompassed within the walls. All staff and visitors first see the Alemre Group Plaque and the Values next to it when they walk through the front door. It’s something we live and breathe daily.

What are some exciting features or amenities that the new headquarters will offer?

The space will boast state-of-the-art equipment, transportation vehicles, meeting spaces, and working spaces. It’s also where we park our Alemre Food Truck during downtime hours. You’ll need to keep an eye on our socials for where we’ll be stopping next!

How will the headquarters enhance the overall operations and efficiency of Alemré Hospitality Group?

We’re able to conduct our professional development sessions, hold team meetings and prepare food that gives us quality control measures unlike those we’ve experienced before. We’re always close to the action at the HQ. It’s a space where we’re also able to experiment with new concepts for future menus and train staff before they make it back to the venues! Functioning 7 days a week also allows us to deliver stock to the venues at any time that suits us, we longer need to adhere to ordering cut offs and have greater flexibility to bounce back from unexpectedly busy services.

What role does the headquarters play in fostering innovation and creativity within the company?

Upstairs in the main office, we have a great selection of industry-related literature and working spaces to foster creative thinking, menu development, business development and captivating marketing campaigns. Team discussion sessions always allow everyone to participate in driving change across all areas of the business.

Will the new headquarters have any sustainability initiatives or green practices in place?

We are currently in the process of offsetting all of our increased power usage through renewable energy resources across the facility, We are also undertaking progressive industry waste management solutions to ensure we remain environmentally conscious.

How will the new headquarters impact the local community?

The HQ always provides employment opportunities for locals across the East Brisbane area. We empower Apprentices, School-Based Programs, and Migrant Workers to learn more about the hospitality industry through hands-on training and progressive practices.

Can you share any future plans or expansions for Alemré Hospitality Group?

Aside from opening a new venue in Winter this year, we are quietly working on some more concepts and identifying gaps in the Market where we can make the most impact on our current and potential. One of our more famous South Bank venues will also be getting a design update in the coming months, you’ll need to check in to see which one that is!

How does the new headquarters reflect Alemré’s commitment to excellence in hospitality?

The HQ is where we base all of our operations, learn from our mistakes, and continue to improve as industry leaders. We have a thirst for knowledge and are always looking for ways to refine our product and service standards. This way, we can continue to deliver everyone memorable, long-lasting moments in all our venues.

What message would you like to convey about the new headquarters to Alemré’s employees, partners, and customers?

Stay tuned! We are in the infancy of what the group will work towards over the next decade. Brisbane is a growing world city; we’re moving with the times. More venues, signature cocktails, and the best value-for-money dishes in Brisbane will be on the cards.
